... parts. I realiz ed I needed an oil pan gasket and rear main seal, so I went to Autozone and bought them. Then I finished putting the pistons back in, and tomorrow I’ll tackle the oil pan and oil pump, then it’s just a matter of waiting for the machine shop to finish fixing the world’s crappiest 390 heads and I’ll be able to put everything back together!
...Wait, were you expecting something else?

Thanks! It was stressful trying to find all the right parts and figure out a decent solution to the cylinder head problem (pretty much everything that could be wrong with them was wrong with them), but now it’s coming together faster than I thought it would.

Good progress on the engine!
We should all do an Oppo meet once the virus situation is under control...most us have new and/or improved vehicles!
